A Special Week, Featuring A Special Company
It’s time for another edition of WFA jobs!
Today we’re going to do something a little different. We’ll be back to our normal 5 jobs per week next week. This week, I want to highlight a company that is hiring for a at least 50 jobs as of today. I want to share a little bit about them, and also why you should only apply in specific circumstances.

What Company Is It?
The company name is Crossover. They’ve been hiring remotely for almost 10 years, from anywhere in the world. They were an early pioneer of Work From Anywhere, and they are almost always hiring for new positions. Their strategy is to either buy or partner with remote companies, then help quickly hire whole new teams of remote workers.
Why Have I Never Posted Jobs from them Before?
Because I don’t agree with their philosophy, and honestly, neither should you. They believe in employee monitoring: they record your screen, your keystrokes, and you, via the webcam. They believe this increases your productivity and helps them make sure they are getting what they pay for.
This is not the work from anywhere future I believe in. I want you to have a job where you can have the freedom to work when you want, how you want, with a complete focus on the results you generate, not on how you use your 40 hours in granular detail.
So Why Am I Posting About Them Now?
1: They are hiring for the most roles I’ve ever seen any company hire for. And I know that many people who read this newsletter are somewhat urgently looking for jobs. This is a company you can definitely get hired at.
2: They do hire from anywhere in the world. Since most of my readers are from Pakistan, I want to provide as many jobs as I can that are actually able to hire people Pakistan.
3: We’re coming up on a recession, and generally I’ve noticed a lot fewer employers are hiring. So when there is opportunity, I think it’s really important to share.
So What Do You Need to Know To Apply?
Crossover will use a test to assess you, and if you pass the test, then they will interview you. I don’t know a lot about the test, but here is an article from someone who knows the testing process well and can guide you for free https://www.12minprep.com/how-to-ace-the-crossover-ccat-test/.
Take time to think about the role you REALLY want and are qualified for. Crossover is know to be brutal about rejecting people it doesn’t think are a good fit. If you see a role you’re not sure you’re qualified for, don’t apply for it. Instead, apply for something else.
Decide before you apply that you are okay being monitored. Yes, it’s not ideal, but if you really want a remote job, and especially if you don’t have a lot of experience, this can be a good choice for you, in the beginning.
